Today at ANEEL - the National Electricity Agency - we received the President of ANBC - the National Association of Credit Bureaus, Elias Sfeir, to discuss the progress made in getting energy consumers to join the Positive Register - a benefit that covers individuals and companies.

This is a joint effort between ANEEL, ANBC and the distributors to include the history of energy bill payments in the Positive Register. Currently, 55 million energy consumers have already signed up for the benefit, and the measure has the potential to reach 76 million consumers!

Once again, I would like to thank ANBC and ABRADEE for this important incentive to reduce defaults, democratize access to credit, encourage financial education and promote social justice.
