Brazil in the spotlight in the global debate on credit and financial inclusion. ANBC takes to the World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference 2025 (WCCRC) in Cancún, This is the Brazilian model for data integration and credit analysis for agribusiness, an initiative that has been recognized as a benchmark for expanding access to credit in a sustainable way.

The panel “Unlocking Rural Potential through Data and Credit Intelligence” gathered our president Elias Sfeir and Claudio Filgueiras, representing the Central Bank of Brazil, to discuss how governance and data sharing can boost rural development and reduce inequalities in the countryside.

In his speech, Elias Sfeir highlighted the role of credit as a vector for productivity and sustainability, emphasizing that a scoring system adapted to the reality of agriculture strengthens small and medium-sized producers, expands access to financing and creates conditions for new private and international investments.

The Brazilian model shows that innovation and collaboration between the public and private sectors are viable ways to strengthen financial inclusion, reaffirming the country's leading role.
