ANBC invited to speak at the WORLD CREDIT REPORTING CONFERENCE and ALACRED Meeting in Cancún
Our President, Elias Sfeir, took part in two important international events in Mexico, highlighting Brazil's role in the global agenda of credit, data, technology and financial inclusion.
On Sunday (12), Sfeir spoke about “Artificial Intelligence in Digital Finance” at the Alacred Meeting, an exclusive meeting for members of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Burós de Crédito, addressing the impact of AI on the evolution of financial services and the construction of safer and more inclusive ecosystems.
On Monday (13), he represented ANBC at the World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference 2025 (WCCRC), also in Cancún. The event, which began today, brings together global leaders to promote debates on the future of credit information, data governance and sustainable development.
During the panel “Unlocking Rural Potential through Data and Credit Intelligence: How Credit Bureaus Promote Inclusive Growth in Agriculture”, Sfeir presented the Brazilian model of data integration and credit analysis applied to agribusiness, developed in public-private collaboration between credit bureaus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Central Bank, reinforcing Brazil's role in global discussions on innovation and financial inclusion.
The WCCRC 2025 will be attended by more than 25 experts from institutions such as the World Bank, IFC - International Finance Corporation, ACCIS, TransUnion, Equifax, Experian and the People's Bank of China, as well as central banks and credit bureaus around the world.
