Event “Financial Inclusion: opportunities for the market and economic development in Brazil”

Today, through our president Elias Sfeir, we were at the Bloomberg LP office in São Paulo to take part in the event “Financial Inclusion: opportunities for the market and economic development in Brazil”. The lectures covered how to include the part of the population that is on the margins of the financial system - 25% of Brazilians don't have a bank account. Other challenges for financial institutions were also highlighted, such as how to bring access to credit, electronic means of payment and investments to those who still transact on paper. Our president also attended this morning's Inside Latam event held by Moody's Investors Service, which addressed, among other issues, the challenges for the credit market in Brazil.
