National Association of Credit Bureaus participates in the Ibero-American MSME Forum in partnership with CNI's Access to Credit Center

The organization is working alongside Sebrae and the Ministry of Economy's Special Secretariat for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness to support the event

São Paulo, October 19, 2021To mark the beginning of the partnership with the Credit Access Center (NAC) of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), the National Association of Credit Bureaus (ANBC) will participate in the Ibero-American Forum of MSMEs - Elias Sfeir, president of ANBC, will be among the speakers on the panel “Credit and Financing for Small Businesses”, on Tuesday 26th, from 10am to 11.30am. Joining ANBC in supporting the initiative are Sebrae and the Ministry of Economy's Special Secretariat for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness.

The event, which will discuss the recovery and growth of Ibero-American small businesses, will bring together representatives of governments and the private sector from Iberian and Latin American countries to discuss measures to strengthen micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The aim is to address the recovery and development of the sector in the post-crisis scenario and to influence public policy in favor of strengthening small businesses.

Running for four years, the partnership between the National Association of Credit Bureaus and the NAC includes a series of actions focused on disseminating information about sustainable credit, the Positive Registry and financial education.

In the view of Elias Sfeir, president of ANBC, “the Credit Access Center plays a fundamental role in recommending lines of credit for companies, supporting entrepreneurs in their search for lines of financing that can help leverage their businesses, making them more competitive,” he says.

“NAC's partnership with ANBC is fundamental for defending the interests of MSMEs and to provide services to this public. Together, the institutions will produce informative content, teach courses, hold events, among other actions that address issues related to credit and positive registration,” explains the Executive Manager of Economics, Mário Sérgio Carraro Telles.
