The president of the National Association of Credit Bureaus (ANBC), Elias Sfeir, took part in the 3rd Ordinary Meeting and the 3rd Round of Meetings of the Thematic Committees of the Permanent Forum of Micro and Small Companies, held between November 27 and 29 in Curitiba. The organization is a member of the FPME and took an active part in the event which brought together representatives from various sectors to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by micro and small businesses in Brazil and Latin America.
Sfeir was present at the Investment, Financing and Credit Thematic Committee (TC 4), where key topics were discussed, such as credit analysis for legal entities from different perspectives, BNDES financing programs and financial inclusion initiatives. During the meeting, he emphasized the strategic role of credit bureaus in strengthening the sector.
“Credit bureaus play an essential role in offering impartial and discrimination-free credit assessments and tools. Our aim is to create fairer conditions for access to credit, especially for micro and small businesses, which are key to the country's economic development,” said Sfeir.
ANBC's participation in the event reinforced its commitment to financial inclusion and visibility for MSE credit. According to Sfeir, “by debating the advances and challenges of access to credit, we seek to build a more sustainable and inclusive economic environment, aligned with the sector's needs.”
