Elias Sfeir participates in ANFAC Seminar on the Evolution of the Receivables Market
On August 22, 2025, ANBC President Elias Sfeir attended the seminar “The Evolution of the Receivables Market”, held in Vitória (ES) by ANFAC - National Association of Commercial Development Companies. The event brought together industry leaders and experts to discuss the advances and challenges of the credit and commercial development market in Brazil.
During his talk entitled “The Evolution of Credit in Brazil and the Positive Registry”Elias highlighted the transformative role of technology and data governance in building fairer, more inclusive and more efficient credit. Success stories from Latin America were presented, such as:
- SPC Brazil: increased productivity with AI and improved model performance at up to 8 KS points.
- TransUnion Colombia: inclusion of more than 4 million new consumers in the credit market.
- Experian: real-time fraud prevention with machine learning, reducing losses in 20%.
- Equifax Brazil: strengthening data governance for responsible credit.
With more than 23.2 million individuals and companies gaining credit visibility, the Positive Registry is consolidated as a consumer right, promoting financial inclusion and sustainability in the sector.
Elias Sfeir congratulated ANFAC and its president Luiz Lemos Leite for organizing the event, which fostered strategic debates on trends in the receivables market.
