The first edition of CDL Experience - A Jornada do Varejo (The Retail Journey) brought high-impact content to the Concórdia Events Center on Thursday (15) for entrepreneurs and retail professionals. With the theme “Discover the Trends that Shape the Future”, the event, organized by CDL Concórdia in partnership with Sebrae SC and the City Hall, featured talks by renowned experts, data from the sector's main international trade fairs and strategies for leveraging local businesses.

The event, which is part of CDL Concórdia's 55th anniversary celebrations, brought together more than 400 participants and a program full of current data and information. Thiago Concer, a national reference in sales, opened the event and discussed techniques for increasing conversions and the “Proud to be a Salesman” movement.

Elias Sfeir, president of ANBC, spoke about the evolution of credit and global scenarios. He presented global, national and local data, especially on the implementation of the Positive Register. Rafael Gallo, from Sebrae/SC, presented the main global retail trends, with insights from fairs such as NRF (New York) and Expo Dubai.

To close the evening, Guga Schifino, a pioneer in phygital models (physical + digital), challenged managers and entrepreneurs by talking about the movement of generations, the difficulties of selling in a physical store today and the unique moment of opportunity to do things differently.
As well as the lectures, the participants enjoyed a coffee break with music from DJ André Velasquez and corporate magic performances from illusionist Jorian. During the break, member companies were able to pick up tickets for CDL's Anniversary Dinner, which will be held on May 30th.

The president of CDL Concórdia, Gerson Grando, highlighted the positive impact of the event: “The CDL Experience exceeded our expectations. We had a highly engaged audience, demonstrating how much entrepreneurs in our region are looking for consistent training and innovation. The knowledge shared here will certainly make a difference to the development of local commerce.”
Given the success of this edition, CDL Concórdia is already planning new initiatives to continue fostering the development of its member entrepreneurs, reinforcing its commitment to training and the growth of regional commerce.
