ANBC and ANFAC join forces to promote financial education initiatives on credit
The associations will develop actions in various formats for audiences ranging from the end consumer to companies of all sizes
Knowledge of basic tools and concepts for accessing credit are factors that help consumers and companies, especially smaller ones, make the best financial choices for economic growth. To help borrowers and lenders achieve these benefits, the National Association of Credit Bureaus (ANBC) and the National Association of Commercial Development (ANFAC) have entered into a partnership to promote actions aimed at improving credit discipline.
The organizations immediately plan to launch initiatives for the sustainable development of the credit and factoring markets in Brazil through events, newsletters, technical notes, sector studies and regulatory intelligence.
The president of ANBC, Elias Sfeir, says that the partnership came about after the organizations realized common needs and interests regarding credit. Both seek to present concepts that guide and encourage different audiences in the use of financial resources.
“The tools related to the credit cycle are fundamental to promoting the sustainability of credit and should be part of Brazilians” daily lives. Joining forces is essential to promote these instruments," said Sfeir.
“This partnership is the result of the synergistic work carried out by the ANBC and ANFAC teams, focused on their day-to-day experiences, with a view to offering the necessary guidelines for a successful credit decision,” says Luiz Lemos Leite, president of ANFAC.
With these initiatives, the organizations will also strengthen their relationship with their members, who will have at their disposal robust repositories of information for decision-making, both when granting credit and when taking credit.
