President Elias Sfeir shares Brazil's advances in data integration and credit intelligence at WCCRC<\/h3>\n

CANC\u00daN, M\u00e9xico, 13 de octubre de 2025 \/PRNewswire\/ - La Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Bur\u00f3s de Cr\u00e9dito (ANBC<\/strong>) is presenting Brazil's model for data integration and credit analysis in agribusiness at the 2025 World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference (WCCRC<\/strong>). Este modelo sirve ahora de referencia mundial para ampliar la inclusi\u00f3n financiera en otros pa\u00edses. El evento se celebra hasta el 14 de octubre en Canc\u00fan, M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

ANBC's Executive President, Elias Sfeir, will join the panel “Unlocking Rural Potential through Data and Credit Intelligence: How Credit Bureaus Foster Inclusive Growth in Agriculture” today (October 13th), alongside representatives from the Central Bank and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. He will underscore the innovative role of credit as a catalyst for productivity and sustainability in the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n

According to Sfeir, agribusiness – which represents 25% of Brazil's GDP – is entering a growth phase that requires modern financial mechanisms to reduce inefficiencies and expand credit access with lower costs and risks. \u201cUn sistema de calificaci\u00f3n crediticia adaptado a la agroindustria hace que el sector financiero sea m\u00e1s accesible y apoya a los peque\u00f1os y medianos productores. La iniciativa -un esfuerzo conjunto en el que participan agencias de cr\u00e9dito, el Ministerio de Agricultura y el Banco Central- ha sido reconocida internacionalmente como un caso modelo, inspirando a otros pa\u00edses a desarrollar soluciones similares. La experiencia brasile\u00f1a ser\u00e1 debatida por representantes de bancos centrales, instituciones multilaterales y oficinas de cr\u00e9dito de todo el mundo, con el objetivo de demostrar c\u00f3mo la gobernanza de datos puede fomentar pol\u00edticas de cr\u00e9dito rural sostenibles que equilibren la mitigaci\u00f3n de riesgos con la promoci\u00f3n de nuevos flujos de financiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

WCCRC 2025 brings together more than 25 experts from organizations including the World Bank, BIIA, IFC, ACCIS, TransUnion, Equifax, Experian, and the People's Bank of China.
