The sanitation sector has the potential to add 55 million records to the Cadastro Positivo database<\/h3>\r\n

After the successful inclusion of financial institutions, telecommunications and electricity utilities, the segment is the new frontier of the Positive Registry<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Fenasan - the National Sanitation and Environment Fair, the largest event in the sector in Latin America, which will be held until October 24 at the Expo Center Norte in S\u00e3o Paulo, has the support of ANBC - the National Association of Credit Bureaus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

This is one of the numerous actions being developed by the credit bureau sector to engage the sanitation area in the Cadastro Positivo, an adhesion that could include 55 million records in the program's database.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The Positive Registry, which has been in force for five years under its automatic adhesion model (Law 12.414 as amended by Complementary Law 166 of 8\/04\/2019), is in its fourth stage of implementation. In this stage, the focus is on the data of the sanitation companies' clients. ANBC's expectation is that the sanitation area will repeat the success achieved in the previous stages, when clients from financial institutions, telecommunications and electricity utilities were included.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u201cOur mission has been to show how this integration can boost the local economy, regional development and social welfare. For companies, joining the Positive Registry can, among other benefits, promote their image and improve their ESG indicator by increasing their S score,\u201d says Elias Sfeir, president of ANBC.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

He adds that <\/span>giving visibility to credit and helping to assess the risk of granting credit by means of positive information are among the following <\/span>the <\/span>The main objectives of the Positive Register. This registry allows creditors to have a fair view of the borrower - whether they are individuals or companies - making it possible to offer more suitable credit conditions for each profile. This integration of the sanitation area, in the view of the credit bureau sector, is strategic for expanding the benefits of credit to the clients of these utilities and the municipalities in which they operate. .<\/span><\/p>\r\n
