The data are from ANBC (National Association of Credit Bureaus) and were shared at the Telebrasil Panel, held this Tuesday (May 3, 2022).

In April 2021, the operators began sharing payment data with the credit bureaus which manage the Positive Registry - Boa Vista, Quod, Serasa, SPC and TransUnion.

The process has already been completed and has resulted in 100 million records of individuals and companies being shared in the database managed by the bureaus. Of this total, more than 11 million records did not have bank accounts. There are 10.3 million individuals and 763,000 companies that were not part of the set of information already shared by the institutions.

“There are millions of Brazilians who can benefit from their good payment history to get cheaper credit, with a more careful analysis that has the potential to reduce serious problems faced in the credit market, such as over-indebtedness,” said the executive president of the Conexis Brasil Digital, Marcos Ferrari.

The information comes from customers of post-paid cellular and fixed telephony services, broadband internet and pay-TV. According to the president of Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency), Carlos Baigorri, it would be possible to use the base of more than 130 million pre-paid users.

For Baigorri, the inclusion of the prepaid base would have “greater social impacts, giving visibility to Brazilian citizens who don't have access to the banking system”.

The implementation of Positive data is carried out in stages. The first and second involved data sharing by financial and telecommunications institutions, in that order. The 3rd, which is currently underway, concerns state-owned and private electricity distributors. The ANBC, however, also advocates the inclusion of the sanitation and natural gas sectors.

“This is the time for the sanitation and gas sectors to become part of the Positive Registry, thus providing the socio-economic benefit of credit to their clients and to the municipalities and states where they operate,” said association president Elias Sfeir.

Follow on Google News Source: https://www.poder360.com.br/economiaLAIS CARREGOSA 03.May.2022 (Tuesday) - 11:54amupdated: 03.May.2022 (Tuesday) - 12:13pm Telecommunications companies began sharing payment data with credit bureaus in April 2021 Telecommunications operators entered more than 11 million...

[1
397,396
post-2511","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias","tag-empresas-de-telecomunicacoes","tag-telecom","blog-post
["GET
